talk with a brother!
on saturday, i woke up, ate, got ready, and went to great mall. brendan was running late, and so was i. i got there first and waited for him for a bit. we got tickets for the Secret World of Arrietty even though we were 15 minutes late. we managed to find seats and watched the movie. i wasn’t satisfied with the ending, i don’t know why. it made me feel like i was left hanging! i really liked the art and animation though :) traditionally animated movies are so nice. after the movie ended, we jumped into The Vow and was able to find seats although it was quite crowded in there. we weren’t late to this one :D
rachel mcadams is so pretty….. i still can’t believe she played the girl in mean girls o__o i wasn’t satisfied with the ending of this movie either!! -____- i felt like i was left hanging again. meh. at least both of the movies had a cat in them! brendan liked the vow and thought it was funny. when we left the movie theaters and he was going into the bathroom, i saw chelsea and faith! they had been in the same theater room as us o__O watching the same movie at the same time HAHAHA
so we were going to go walk to grab a bite to eat and after walking off the parking lot of the mall and almost away completely, we decided to turn back and eat something inside sdfojzcoijodsiv we wandered into ghiradellis and were given chocolate caramel samples. peppermint bark is better. we were given frozen yogurt samples too and he gave me money to buy a sandwich at subway while he saved a table for us. i got a BLT half and there was so much stuff put into the sandwich that it didnt taste like BLT anymore (well, at least not the bacon part :c). i sat down and he went to buy his food. i didn’t eat until we came back. sandwiches are hard to tackle when you’re a person who only gets their thumb and index fingers dirty and hates to get food on their lips/ face. sigh. i like eating neatly. besides when im at home though.
he forced me to eat some fries and drink soda :c
we walked back to the movie theaters and sat down and waited for our rides. my dad came first to pick me up! it was nice hanging out with brendan :’)
we went to costco but there were no samples!! while we were backing out of the parking space in the parking lot, i saw this man taking stuff out from his cart and into the trunk of his car. i thought he looked familiar but i didn’t think anything about it until he looked at me and then, i realized. it was christian’s dad!! HAHAHAH we waved to each other and my dad drove away to pump gas into the car.
i went home, practiced piano, and then went to youth group! i sat with tony for a bit and talked to him, and then service started. i stood next to joy while we worshipped. we sat down for message and justin sat next to me. wilson had a long message and i got tired and sleepy after a bit. then we prayed for a long time by ourselves and i felt tired again. after, we stood up for offering and worship.
it was time to eat! there was rice with curry. i ate and talked to various people. i remembered something and went up to justin, asking him if he still needed to talk to me about something he wanted to a few weeks back. he said he was okay now but after i insisted, we went outside to the back of the church and talked. the light that was on went off so it got a little dark but he talked to me about stuff having to do with church, christians, and just life and how hopeless he felt. he felt okay then though, which was good. he asked me a few questions about my own life too, which was nice. he told me i’ll come to know who is really there and has my back, and to that, i said, “you”. justin’s a good friend. after that, i really wanted to just give him a hug because i’ve always thought justin was a great friend but he was never a touchy guy at all so oh well. we had to go back inside since he had to practice in a few minutes. everyone was playing a tag sort of game in the dining hall. i would’ve joined them but my boots’ heels were an inch high or so, and i don’t like the idea of running around in anything that isn’t vans, converse, or running shoes :| i ate some red velvet cake with 2 great scoops of vanilla ice cream. when i finished, i found that i couldn’t play the piano in the sanctuary because chi mai was actually practicing with the boys and using the keyboard. i went back into the dining hall and just played some nice piano. :) samantha and i chased each other around in the sanctuary, playing tag. she’s so cute. by the time i went home, it was 10! my took me home and i went to sleep later
